1925   Power Corporation of Canada is created
1967 Mackenzie Financial Corporation is created
1969 Power Corp. makes first direct investment in what would later become IGM Financial Inc.
1975   Year of first institutional client
2001   Power Corp., through its ownership of Investors Group, acquires Mackenzie Financial Corporation to form IGM Financial Inc.
2006   Mackenzie acquires Cundill Investment Research Ltd., including its institutional business
2008   Mackenzie acquires Howson Tattersall Investment Counsel, including its institutional business
2012   Mackenzie Investments Corporation is created.
